Hi TrueDrezzer,

yes unfortunately brake pads need an "ABE" or "Allgemeine Betriebserlaubnis" for the S2K. Some guys try to get "move_it"-brakes for the s2k but of course you need a T

Hi!

- better brake fluid
should be no problem. Actually I also have higher boiling fluid in my brake system

- brake pads
see above

- stainless steel brake hoses
are available and they have ABE. Ask your dealer or look into the shop area at www.s2k.de

The main problem however is brake temerature. A modified brake from MoveIt or Postert would help on the front wheels, but there is (up to now) no solution for the rear.

CU, Guido

Thanks for the responses. I will check out tf4u.com and s2k.de.

Wait a minute. Does this mean every time I need new brake pads after finishing them on the track I need to run to the TUV to get them approved? That seems a bit rediculous.

The brake pads I have are EBC Green Stuff pads from Holland so I don't have any ABE/TUV documents. I looked online and seems like EBC does sell them in Germany but I just don't have this document. Since they are legal here anyway, would I be OK or do I have to buy them again just to get the document?

Cheers,
Robin

Ok, sounds fair, but say I want to try out different brake pads... every time I change to a different brand, I'll need to go back to the TUV right? Do they write something in the Fahrzeugschein? Guess I'd better pick a pad brand and stick to it.

What brake pads are you using on your car? How do you like them?
