Default trip to spain

hope it's okay for me to post here...if not, let me know and i'll delete this!

anyway, i'm leaving for spain tomorrow, from chicago. arriving in barcelona. all i have planned so far is a hostel (sant jordi something) for the first 2 nights, then my hotel for the rest of the trip in sevilla for a friend's wedding. basically, i'll be by myself and really have nothing set from the 14th - 21st.

i was planning on spending some time in ibiza, then maybe renting a car from valencia to sevilla for a few days, take in some sights. any suggestions from local spain members? i was also interested in good booking sites/companies for flights, hotel and car rental. the only place for flights i've been looking at is iberia, and nothing for car rental yet. thanks for any help!

Definitely (if you have time and can drive 5 hours) go up to Santander/San Sebastian, I just went there about a month ago, crazy fun.

Madrid is also beautiful, and La Escorial isn't too far. The monastery where they bury the Spanish Kings is there, it's breath-taking!!

hmm, if i go to ibiza, it probably isn't feasible to make it up that way. though i've already been to ibiza, so i guess i'll keep it mind. looks like pamplona is on the way as well.

thanks for the reply!
