I missed the mail at the office today but the check has been written and will leave the building 4/18.
This is a great thing guys. Unfortunately being in the Estate/Financial Planning arena for a living I sort of deal with this stuff all of the time BUT I can honestly say I have never seen a car club put up so much effort for one of their own. A community, a church, a former employer? Yes. Somebody's hobby/passion? This is just a great thing. Proud to know you all of you.

I've set a goal for the Florida Crew to raise a minium of $500 dollars to be donated to DREAMCATION'S Family. As of 7:45 tonight, after only few days, we've already reached a little over 25% of that goal!
Just a thought. At each of the weekly Orlando Meets, we've averaged at least 10 S2000 owners and significant other & friends. IF each person gave at least $10, at each meeting we can raise over $100! What's $10? It's 2 mixed drinks, it's 3 beers etc.
I'd like to challenge the Jacksonville Crew, the Tampa Crew, The South Florida Crew and the Pensacola Crew to raise as much money as they possibly can. The Crew that raises the most, this summer, I will attend one of your meets, and the first round will be on me.
I'd love to see us blow right past the $500 goal and maybe even double that amount.

Nadia and I have been trying to get the North Tx people to do the same thing but I'm sad to say that they haven't caught the bug. Maybe there are good people outside of TX.
