this thread exists in the S2000 talk forum. Here is what I wrote there:

that is def. a NSX rear window and supporting structure on the top.

they are most likely testing the engine and drive line of the next NSX replacement and hiding it in this hybrid body design.

No reason to spill the beans on what concept they are going with for the actual design of the body when they have plenty of na1/2 and ap1/2 lying around to frankenstien together.

I am suprised that Nissan did not do the same thing with the skyrine testing....maybe they did

If you didn't want to give away the design, what other body are you going to use? An S2000 body is the only logical option currently in production. I'm actually thrilled to see the pics. Looks like it may be a mid-engine design, and some were talking about possible wastegate dumps. Ohh yeah, turbo, mid engine, v10? Maybe Honda won't disappoint with the new NSX after all.
