The sad thing is he's probably a good guy and doens't mean any harm by his post he's just not very informed when it comes to mods.

 

the important thing.. was he wanted to share something he felt, it may or may not have had total accurate best equipment testable result's who cares.. oh.. wait.. ok, some care a bit too much..... he felt all these adjustments did what they did for him and he wrote it up.. i don't know car colors'. only recently discovered my silverstone has at least two other silver's on body parts.. but many know me an know i love driving my car and lol, couldn't care less what pretty dress it wears... ( respects to ALL my wash an wax fend friends, they're nutz).. i don't know super tuning this car... i love to adjust my own valves, i love to do the cleaning of the parts i wanta clean and make work.. i treat it like an abused step child.. and i think last tested it made 180's at over 150k.. i'd love a header that did use what i think would be a bettergas delievery routing.. hell i'd love a set of the old side pipes.. but.. enuf of my insanity, the guy wrote up his car an seemingly used people many recognize ( respects to LHT for getting brought into this) ( however ya'll know them, call them...)

he dyno'd the car bone stock and made 210whp....then dyno'd again with said mods and did 242whp...

sounds like he made 32 peak hp with very little mods...thats impressive. Since we have not seen the dyno chart we dont know what gains he made under the curve but I would assume its on par with his peak gains.

Doesnt matter what dyno he was on or what his numbers were. He made over 30 hp gain and thats very impressive for a NA car with that few mods!

He was just happy and wanted others to know...no harm, no foul

 

on a side note, my 08 CR did 237whp with just header, exhaust, Hondata flash and K&N drop in filter....

 

Why not let him post what he wants about his own car? Dyno's are used for tuning purposes and are not all on the same playing level.. He is obviously happy with what he has and wants to share it with others. Why jump on him and call him a ricer? Grow up..
