I'm watching Sports Car Revolution on Speed Channel, and some guy puts his '98 Prelude on the dyno hoping for 190bhp after extensive mods. He gets 156 in front of the hot chick hostess, to whom he admits he spent EIGHTY THOUSAND DOLLARS for the car and the mods.
Dude.
I looked up the '98 Prelude on Edmunds. I know the show is based in Canada, but the base Prelude in the U.S. had 195hp.

That's $80k Canadian, most likely, still a ton for what he's getting, but a lot less than $80k US.
Second, its 195 brake hp, the dyno measures wheel hp... a 20% loss would make it exactly 156whp. Sounds to me like someone forgot to turn the mods on before running the dyno

80,000.00 CAD = 68,860.69 USD
I could probably pull 156 with $2-3k in mods to my puny little D16. For $68k I'd go this route:
