Willie.. he should be able to go into any Recuiter office, anywheres..

i asked my dad.. in his last years command he was the commander of the North East Regional Recuiting Command from Maine down to DC an over to western PA.. he says what did I mean lost.. and said tell'm to walk into any city shouldn't be any problem.. he suggested a larger city then where your cousin happens to be if there is a problem where he has been trying..

back in the 60's my father was part of the group who wrote the modern volunteer army program

LOL, if the recruiters legitimately "lost" his papers, they're dirtbags. I would refer you to my recruiter, she was the best and helped me get the job I wanted, but she has since retired...

All I can say is keep trying.

It happened in Tampa and in Palm Springs. Both were like "you will get your papers soon, you are ready to go." Months later Cameron asked, and they answered "I guess I lost your papers, sorry."

At this point I'd like to go with someone somebody knows. He's losing faith in the system.

wow.. one would imagine those to be " larger cities "

maybe call a congressman or woman...

i'd say that would cause me to look for an intelligent life form... cause doesn't sound like he's met one...

my nephew just walked into the guy here in St Aug...

Actually, the Air Force is not in dire need for recruits. Their quotas have been met for many months in the future already. Of course, they will always be hungry for people to fill out their critical fields like security forces and aircraft maintenance. Do not let the recruiter sweet talk your cousin into doing a job he doesn't want to do... hold out and it will open eventually.

Too many(imo) junior airmen and officers have been involuntarily denied re-enlistment/re-instatement lately due to budget cuts, and the fact that they are just plain over-manned. Look up "force shaping"

Its the Army and Marines that are desperate for new troops.
