Default Alignment Questions / Recommendations

Hey all,

I recently got a set of lowering springs and half-shaft spacers and will hopefully be getting them on very soon, contacted 2nrwrks and just waiting on their reply.

My questions are, how long should I wait to have the alignment done after the car is lowered? Also, I did a search and found that someone recommended Car & Concepts in Tampa for alignments. Are these guys pretty good? Or are there any other good places to go?

Thanks guys,

John

Kauffman Tire on Benjamin in Tampa. They are used to working on S2ks.

I'd wait two weeks if you drive the car, longer if it sits in your garage. Your car will handle horrible after you lower it (until the alignment) so just be aware of that.

Thanks for the info. Yeah, my car is no longer a daily driver, weekend only now. You think 3 weeks if it's a weekend car now?

3 weeks minimum I'd say, if the car sits. The springs will settle quite a bit.

G, looks like I'm coming over on Thursday to corner balance the car. You recommended a shop to do the aligment, but I forgot which one. Remember?

Daytona Toyota on Nova. They've got a great machine and tech. Make a reservation, as they fill up very quickly. Have you got specs ready?
