tonight may very well be the last night of one of the greatest men I have ever known and gotten to know... my older brother has been ill with a brain tumor cancer which as of this morning has placed him in hospice up in Jax, and they do not expect a tomorrow.. i spent most the day with him... his body was cold to the touch and his eyes flittered from time to time..

Bill is a good man.. did alot for others and worked hard all his life.. he served this country during the mid phases of the vietnam war... he's actually in a photo in the Paris Island Military Museum for the tet / ka san offensive...

he taught me scuba.. an surfing.. and sailing... taught me about cars... one of the first he had we played on together was an old triumph TR 10...some of the best thoughts I have are of camping and doing stuff with my brother... hunting... fishing.. water an snow skiing... boats and more boats... and so many cars and trucks.. he was the kind of man wwho would come get you if you broke down... help you if you needed.. worked with you if you wanted... a good honest truthful man... and i am so proud to have a brother like him.. cause he was always at your side...
