Default Any military?

Just wondering if there are any service members in the group. I am in the Navy. I just went over 5 yrs. I'm on a submarine out of King's Bay. I joined out of high school.

LOL working for...like I have the option to quit

I'm active duty, assigned to JCSE where I work with many of your fellow Navy Brother. Most of them are ITs or ETs, but we have a few SeeBees as well.

I was in the Navy from 93-97 and also stationed on a submarine out of Norfolk, VA. I was on the USS BERGALL SSN-667. It was the smallest and fastest of the fast attack subs but they're all decomissioned now I think. Being a submariner makes you appreciate the finer things in life like your own bed, fresh air and sunlight I was #1 battle stations helmsman/planesman. I particularly enjoyed the sound of the dive alarm and that's about the only good memory I can recall.

I just got out of the Navy three weeks ago after spending 8.5 years as a Submarine Electronics Technician (communications.) What boat are you on and what is your rate? I was on the USS Columbia (SSN-771) out of Pearl Harbor Hawaii. There's another guy by the screen name of "hahnn002" who is also a submariner. I believe he was on the USS Charlotte.

Been there, done that...now RETIRED Air Force here. Mustang as well...enlisted to officer (best of both worlds). For those who are still in, play it smart and stay safe.
