I am doing the same with 19s. I don't think there will be a camber problem with just 1 in but a camber kit is cheap.

you will have camber wear and you will chew through tires. An alignment can only take you so far back to spec and even though they do make a camber kit for the fronts it is really cheap and they do not have anything for the rears.

I say drop it because I am lowered and inch and a half myself. But be prepared to buy tires more often when you do drop it.

Also a 1 inch is less severe than say a 1.5 or 2 but you will have to be more careful on steep drives and speed bumps because you will rubb and scrape too

You will be mad that you didn't lower it more.

I think a 1inch drop would be okay, because the car already has an adjustabnle camber kit on it. However, I think you will go through tires faster. I'm doing at least a 1 inch drop as soon as I get the extra money.

Since you are looking at Eibach springs you might want to look at the Ground Control coilover. They use Eibach springs and you can adjust them when needed.
I had them on my last car, 03 CL with the stock struts and then with KONI yellows. Both set ups were a smooth ride and I just dropted 1 inch.
Just some options for yah

from the guys whos been slammed since well forever.

lowering the car does not cause crazy tire wear.

TOE causes crazy tire wear, a correct alignment will eliminate toe and you will still have camber.

our cars have dual wishbone on all 4 corners which LOVES camber. eats it up like a hobo with a ham sandwich.

given extreme camber such as.... -2.5+++ will cause "camber" wear.. but @ 1" drop you can correct that fine.

just make sure to ALIGN after the springs settle.. that way its actually doing something and DO NOT JACK the car up after springs settle and before you go to an alignment place.. make sure they drive it up and do not jack it up..

most people. put on springs.. and either dont get an alignment or they go right away.. or they wait and the shop jacks it up to fit on the lift and ruins everything. waste of an alignment.

BTW 1" drop wont look very good but its actually an improvment on handling.. anything more then 1" actually hurts handling.

carlton, the S & 19's is going to be alot of rotaional mass to turn but oh well ur torbo'd. i was always 19" guy until i got the S and realized i need to settle for 18..

also just a spring is going to drop the car, but its not gonna handle like god. you need shocks valved similarly to the spring rate, also aftermarket shocks will not bust with the extreme pressure being put on them by the piston being further down into the shock body.

for the ETC, so on and so forth.. pm me.. the whole "tire wear" is BS.. so dont make your drop based on that. ALSO rubbing out and scraping should be less with a firmer Spring.. because the ride doesnt "bounce" when going over objects.. the only thing your going to hit is something taller than the actual car.
