Hey easy about my mod list!! But just to jump in the conversation with kieth I have been known to go through an 80 tank while date diving. But am always looking for an opportunity to get wet with my friends. Count me in on any organized dive as long as I don't have to be buddies with TKT.
What's this date diving?
Ok, thats it. I'm getting certified. With this many people wanting to get together, now is as good a time as any to do it. Does anyone reccomend a place? I don't really want to do it by myself. Also, what exactly will I need?
Quaesta, after interacting with TKT, I don't blame you!

There's quite a few places in West Palm. I think there's a dive shop on the SW corner of I95 and 45th or Blue Huron. You should be able to get PADI Certified in a weekend. I think it's four or five dives. Then you can get Adv Cert in another 2-3 day course. Check the yellow pages for scuba diving, most are pretty good. I've been out with most of the shops, and they're all good. No horror stories.
Or, call the Jupiter Crab House. The owners are avid divers and have a dive boat leave from their doc 1 or 2 times each day. They are good people to hang and dive with, and I think the shop they use does classes.
