You can see where it was cut. I would be willing to bet it was cracked and someone (previous owner) cut it off as a quick fix to trade it in.

I did not buy the car.
Took it up to S&R and he said it would take about $3500-$4000 to make the car right mechanicly and that does not even start with the paint and body on the car. In other words I can have alot more car for the same money somewhere else. I still had to go look at if for $6k it could have been a deal.
I am going to look at a 03 later on this week with 66k miles for less than $10k
