25" Sharp TV $10.00 OBO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have had this TV for about 5 years. Its a great TV. It will come with a universal remote thats probably worth 10.00 by itself lol. Problem is that lately it seems to work ok and then shuts off. Then starts making a clicking noise. Seems like a fuse is broken. I would keep it and get it fixed, but I have a replacement already for it. 10.00 OR BEST OFFER!

PM me! taking up space in my house =)

This seems to be a tad ridiculous to be a thread in our forum.

This is not Sanford and Son around here.

Please read our new policies on selling (stickied at the top).

I hope this is a joke and if it is, then it was a waste of thread space.

I will let the other CO's decide if this should stay or not.

IMHO for sale items in our forum should at the very least be S related and if they are not they should be for items with a little bit of want and value. A 10.00 OBO TV that has problems is not the kind of sale items I would want in our forum.

PrimoGen, I can understand what you mean that this thread is a bit silly, but in all honesty, who does it hurt by being here? It isn't derogatory towards anyone, he isn't bumping the thread every 30 minutes, and for all we know, a member could be looking for a TV on the cheap for a child's room, garage, etc.

Obviously, I have little to no influence on anything that goes on in these forums, but I don't think this forum is so cluttered that the CO's should feel forced to drop the hammer on everyone who starts a new thread. In my honest opinion, there have been WAY more useless threads that got bumped to the top of the forum 10 times a day with one word responses.

As long as it doesn't become a habit, no worries.

BTW: I'll give you $2 to smash the TV with a sledgehammer, video it, and post it.

Shooting it with a 303 Enfield makes a nice mess.

Thumbs down

Hey, whatever floats your guy's boat, I guess

I personally cant stand sifting through threads like this, but if it is what the majority thinks is fine then so be it.

But lets take an objective look at it:

I have a toaster that only toasts one side of the bread and one of the slots does not work at all, should I post it with a 5.00 OBO price on it?? What happens when a thrid person posts a blender with a crack in the glass and no buttons?? and so on and so on......?

GIVE ME A BREAK!!!

I would rather nip this issue in the bud now then have to deal with it down the road.

I dont think the ability to post for sale items in our local forum ever meant to included yard sale garbage.

I would rather see a fixer upper SLR camera up for sale than a defunct TV. An SLR camera that needs repair still has intrinsic value associated with it.

As far as fixing the TV for the childs room or garage....you can buy an brand new tv for less than 50.00. I think fixing this reef-starter of a TV would cost you more than buying a new one.

I am not hating on the seller for posting this but I dont like the idea of seeing garage sale items all over the forum.

Lets use a bit more decorum when posting for sale items shall we????

I will let the masses decide this one.

Come on Rob. Threads like these allow for mucho entertainment if nothing else. I understand that you CO's have to read every post but the humor value is worth it.
