I've owned both. I gotta say I would much rather drive my AP2 everyday than my AP1. I do miss the extra 1000rpm, but the AP2 is so much better everyday, and the suspension and gearing are just plain better, not to mention the more usable low end torque.

It would be a drivers race. Ive raced a 3 AP2's and only lost to one.

Double that....

IM not stock anymore except for my bolt ons...But I raced an ap2 with Drag radials and I had AEM V2 and I pulled on him all the way through..

Ive raced 2 ap2s and lost to NONE

But the AP2 does offer a nice toned done comfy ride....

I ran an AP2 to 120MPH and from a dead start to 120 his front bumper was at my side view mirror . Both cars have the same AEM intake , stock otherwise
