Default April's Miata has been hit : (

April was rear ended in her 90 Miata about 2 hours ago, she seems to be fine but, the 90 Miata is….totaled...not totaled

damn.. 1/4 panel damage plus parts and labor might be well over how much that cars worth...

She seems to be fine, just shook up. We just had both seats rebuilt and new leather installed. When she is seated in the car the seat back is higher than her head. The seat fits her very well and probably protected her form serious injury.

Glad to hear April is OK, however I would bet she will be sore in the AM, hits like that 9especially in a small car) can cause a real jolt to the body.

Looks like it is totaled. I would suggest talking with your insurance agent to help you with the settlement. Maybe you can show all the receipts for the work you recently had done.

If you repair the car and keep it change the insurance coverage to replacement value or a specified $ amount.

Ben,
My roommate is an ins adjuster. I will get his opinion on damage and what to do about getting cost of recent repairs/upgrades covered. I'll post back shortly.

He said it looks totaled and you probably will not get much for the recent work done. But make sure you ask about it bc you might get a little something.
