I don't know anything about bikes except how to not fall off one.

This would be a cool mini-van:

Yeah Scott, you got a good eye for good looking cars. I also wish that the Stream would come over here, maybe with a different name though. I wonder if it is sold with a 2 litre. I would really give it a look, especially if Honda brought it over with a diesel. I think this is actually one of the more attractive looking cars wearing the Honda label.

But VW should do something like the S-Max. I like VW's because they are European: they look it and feel it. The S-Max has a 2 litre turbo that is positively phenominal, the same engine as in some versions of the Mondeo. I would give a car like that a real hard look. It think it's dishearten to see how successful Audi's product line is here in comparison to some of VW's.

We still don't get the best of what the world has to offer. But I think that VW runs the risk of alienating whatever core the brand has left here in the states. I like its products because they are VW's, not rebadged Chryslers. This doesn't even look all that different from a Town & Country. VW has the expertise to develop a good product, relying primarily on its expertise.

If the costs of bringing a people mover here to the states are prohibitive, then develop a new nitch, like a smaller, premium people mover...just like the Tiguan will be a premium priced small SUV which will be sold at a price point above the CRV or Rav-4...just my opinion.

But Scott...I would really want to be shortlisted for a Stream.

I agree Triman ... a diesel (w/turbo) powered product would be a benefit in this small MPV market. Diesel engines really off great torque for their size and that is just what a people mover works with best (in my opinion). I'm fine with a MPV that looks sporty while still only doing 0-60 in 9 seconds.

The picture of this Stream is actually the new redesigned one ... and i'm perfectly happy with the looks of the last (current) model.
