Indeed, food is VERY expensive there. A bag salad that you can get two for 3.99 her is 7.99 a bag on the big island. We coulld not go out for a meal and spend less than $75 for a couple. Theres are some tricks though.......love the POKE....
Thne first morning we were on Maui, We went to a Winery and there was a Hawwaiian version of Cars and Coffee. Vettes, Vipers, a Delorean and the pantera caught my eye.
