Yea, I can imagine replacing tires every 1000 miles is a real joy. Thats rediculous, and dangerous. Not much tire surface touchig the ground=bad traction

but once the cord start to show through they dont wear as fast and last the other 500 miles

Shits dope! I mean you have to be on dope to ride like that. I like camber and stretched tires but that's a bit much.
