Accidents do open the door for body kits.

CEL or service required??

CEL, maybe they pulled the code and it was nothing so they reset the ECU. Is it a Honda service place, other service location or a body shop? A good Honda dealer would have checked the CEL as a courtesy and if it was a BS code they would have reset the ECU for you.

The second one comes on automatically every 3K miles or something like that to coerce you into an oil change they could have reset it very easily if they knew the "secret" LOL

its a cel, i pulled it (random misfire in all cylinders) before turning it in to get my bumper replaced. I asked if they disconnected the battery and they said no. My radio settings are still as i left them. And i know that you can't reset the ECU unless the battery cable is disconnected. I'm puzzled. They wouldnt touch anything engine related without consulting me, anyway.

They probably used a OBD II reader. I got one for $100 at Advanced auto. You plug it in and you can reset them easily. That is probably what they did. You don't have to pull the battery cable. Good to know you are back up and running.

The bumper looks great, guys. However, its not put on there correctly. You can spot that the gap between the bumper and the trunk is not even from even 10' away. Im thinking about taking it in and get it re-aligned. However, I fear that these guys will think im a nuissance and start messing with my car.

Have you guys ever had a this kind of experience with a bodyshop???

I got hit AGAIN. I just replaced the rear bumper not eve 4 months ago. What is it with people and my rear bumper!!!

Light turned green, guy infront of me did not move. I moved slowly forward so that when he does start moving i would be already moving. Well, turned out the guy was day dreaming and did not move so i stopped. Guy behind me slammed into me.

He had the nerves to blame it on me for stopping abruptly and caused him to not be able to stop in time. What a tard. Called FHP and he settled it. Before we left, he said "you know, you should at least offer to pay for half of the damage to your car." I thought "whatever" and got in my car and left. Will be visiting the bodyshop today for an estimate. He will be paying out of his own pocket for this. FHP is the witness so im not worried he will run off.

Ranting mode...off.
