Barrett-Jackson
Anyone watch the Barrett-Jackson auction on Speed Channel? No import toys for another decade or so, but fun to watch nevertheless. I'm headed out there after work Friday. Hopefully I'll find some vintage Honda S600 or S800 artwork, manuals, ads, whatever amongst the sea of vendors.
Has anyone ever seen an S600 or S800 roadster in person, or know anyone who has one?
Bill

Hi Bill,
I see this is a year old thread, but I own a 1964 Honda S600. I've got a small but growing collection of original S600-S800 literature, manuals, advertisements, etc...
I could possibly copy some of this if you want to pay for the costs. PM me, or email me at smithenhiven@hotmail.com if you like.
Jason.

If you EVER consider selling the S600, please, please contact me. I've always wanted one...I've never actually seen one in person, but to own a piece of history like that....mmmm....
Wowww.....*contemplates really, really hard*
I might bite. That one's in a little better shape (hence, a tad pricier), than I'm in the market for. I'm gonna call them though. That's a beautiful piece. 11,000 rpm in a featherweight

A college buddy had an S600 Coupe...it was his autox car! I drove it on a couple of occasions. Very tight fit. Makes an Elise feel roomy and easy to climb in to. It was right hand drive and the steering wheel was huge for the cockpit. I could barely fit my legs under it and had to shuffle steer...there was not enough room between my legs and the wheel for my hands to pass by. The gear lever was very close too...it felt like my arm was at an un-natural angle to shift. Definitely not designed for a 6'+ person. Very cool none the less...silky sweet engine...more motorcycle engine than car motor.
I'm not into the coupe's...never have been. It's gotta be an open top
There's a guy autoxing an old Datsun 2000 where I race....I'd love to race him old school with one of these
Some R-comps and a sway bar on that little Honda...wow...what a fun ride that thing would be
