Sinsin, Please PM me details about how well they paint and a contact number.

Once I put my motor back in I am looking for a place to get my POS repainted Black.

Since I am not really around much, they can take their time getting it done.

Yes, my front tires were/are camber. Remember when you guys took the tire off my car that day at Williegee's so that I could paint my calipers and the way the front left tire was heavily worn on the inside of the tire?

Well apparently both tires were now that way and therefore my tires are considered camber when showing wear on the inside of the tire. Thus I needed a camber kit and had to wait for Allstate to come out and assess the tires and approve the alignment. Whew!

Because of that they were suggesting I buy new tires but Dan said I had only used 60% of the life of the tires so I'm thinking I can get another 20% out of them. They were worried that because of the wear on the tires that my tires wouldn't align correctly but they have to set the tire straight anyway when they align them so if they're camber that shouldn't affect the alignment if the tire is laying flat on the center and not angled.

And Allstate payed for the alignment so all I cared about was it being done right.

I'm a bit worried that if I have them adjust the placement of the "S2000" emblem then that will leave adhesive marks on my new paint.

Any suggestions?

Yea after I got my car back, I noticed the paint is off. The front bumper paint is a little rough. The front bumper is not entirely perfect but damn near close. Pretty much I decided that I'm just going to get an AP2 front end and the AP2 headlights and I'm already getting the AP2 rear end with tail lights from another member. Then the whole car is going to be repainted. Probably after the CR comes out, I'll just get the front and rear bumper, the rims, and wing and it'll be an AP1 in disguise

Just take it off!

Both of them...

I would be careful, since the paint hasn't cured all the way yet. Better yet.. tell them they screwed it up and have them take it off...

But what are the chances of having adhesive markings left in my new paint?? If removing it will leave a permanent mark then I'd rather leave it.

A little bit of "Bug and Tar" remover should take care of that. If not there are some stronger adhesive removers out there but the name escapes me at the moment.
