Best Tech in Central Florida! lots-o-pics
I brought my vortech S/C to speed clinic in Kissimmee with a blown motor in hopes that I could have i back to in the same condition that it used to be in when it was running fresh and strong. I have heard of "Jo Tech"'s reputation working on S2K's in Puerto Rico, so much that local shops would fly him up to work on project cars.
Well, I was excited when I heard that he was moving to Central Florida permanently and teaming up with a new shop speed clinic in Kissimmee.
Jo knew that I had been s/c since I got the car and was tired of producing the same power and being limited to what a s/c could bring me. Since the block was pretty much wrecked and I had to rebuild it anyways, we decided to get it sleeved @ golden eagle; I already had a set of lower compression CP pistons and crower rods so I had the potential to go big on boost.
He found me a used turbo kit that he had originally built about 4 years ago that one of his old customers was selling for a good price. I sold my s/c kit and bought the kit which was equipped with a large precision turbo and large precision fmic.
Jo with assistance of other coworkers at speed clinic put blood, sweat, and tears into my car. From taking the motor out, pulling it apart, shipping it out to get sleeved, sending it to the machine shop, getting it back putting it together and installing it was about half the work. He then had to come up with a reliable solution for the fuel system and get some custom brackets for the fmic and fuel rail fabricated to fit which he sent to Gato Performance shop around the corner (who also made me a custom downpipe). He also took my turbo apart to insure no play since we were unsure of the amount of miles that were on the kit.
Jo was very meticulous and paid very close attention to detail when it came to building my motor, making sure any and all parts that were put back on the car were in good condition or replaced (down to almost every single fitting, lol). When it came to the fuel system he was able to put two warlbro fuel pumps and 1200cc injectors together with a BDL fuel rail. He also relocated the battery to the trunk do to the size and location of the turbo.
I have an AEM EMS for tuning.
