Default BITHLO!

ok..so i said i wasnt going to take my car to bithlo at all...EVER. but at work there is a small competition going on between some engineers. and a guy has an S2000. but he has a bad clutch, and ran 15 flat at 93mph. i have had my fair share of drag racing my supercharged SI, and many times before it had torque...so im sure i can get a decent launch and time out of my car. im kinda excited being that its all stock.

if anyone wants to go...ill probably be there!

im hoping for atleast 14.7 @ 97

realistic? im thinkin i can do 14.5 but i dont want to get my hopes up

yea should be able to run low 14s if you get a good launch. I ran a 14.1 at 99mph with 18s on.

bithlo is a crappy track. Don't keep your expectations high.

thus my predictions. ive raced at bithlo for almost 10 years now. i know it sucks. but its still a good rush. i've still never gone faster than 2nd gear floored. hahahaa. never been over 90 in my car yet!

14.1 @99 w/ 18's is great. ill try not to think too hard about it and hopefully i wont expect that!

i may also go on friday, a bunch of guys i work with are going...

and yes. i need to autocross. i saw one was coming up later this month at BCC

I said the same thing as you, I swore I would never take the S out there. But I did take it out once to see what it would run. With the OEM 16s on it I ran 13.98 @ 98mph. I was very happy with it but I will never take the car out again. Autocross FTW.

2nd gear should top out at around 60. Did you mean 3rd?

if you want to keep your diff. then dont take it to the strip.

trust me i know i lost one to that, one to many times at the drag strip. and then i got it replaced from honda. and have road raced it only 2 weekends and at nationals and its bad again.

i swear i think im the only person to go through 2 diffs NA.

Damn that is crazy Rene. Time for a PuddyMod diff. Or if Honda will fix it for free let them do it again
