Default Can anyone do the oil jet install for an '01?

I have read that since I have an '01 I really need to get the revised oil jets or whatever for my engine.
I know back in NY where I lived there was someone that could do it for me but not driving back to NY for that hahah.
So anyone in FL able to do that or know where I could go to get it done and approximately how much costs?
Getting a Vortech SC kit now. stock boost until I can get a new clutch as well and all.

Thanks. I'm sure me having a 2001 model that I don't have the updated oil jets.
From all the boosted people in the NY Metro forum everyone told me to upgrade them before boosting and now with a vtsc on the way I would like to do it but don't think I have the tools or the knowledge to do it myself.

i only researched it after you brought it up.. my 01 has 167,000 on it... i haven't a clue if i have had, need or whatever.. except.. sounds like it isn't a bad idea for an upgrade..

Yeah. Are you boosted? I think NA it is fine but once boosted the extra oil pressure or something causes the need for them I guess.

I am hoping it is not a really pricey install. I know it is like a $20 part or something but labor is a bunch I bet. I have like 118K or so miles now so I would rather be safe than sorry.

Yeah doesn't look too bad I just don't have any damn tools or a garage or anything.
So was hoping maybe a member here could do it for some money or something that is familiar with the install.

I am thinking about going ahead and upgrading mine. If you want my best friend owns his own shop. (impulse automotive). If you want we can get them both done at the same time. Tools galore! lol
