Can someone explain
Sure you don't mean the spoon/mooncraft top. I guess you could call that a hatch.

I'm a giant fan of this
I don't think that mugen has a hatch, just their hardtop deal in fpr or cf.
Both are killer

The Mugen Hatch is something that has to be seen to appreciate and driven to fully grasp the sheer greatness!!!
In essence it is 1986 Civic hatchback with JDM mugen 14 inch steel wheels painted white, used as the 2NRWERKS shop beast. But in truth it is much more. It is the great equalizer, the destroyer of unsuspecting prizm's and kia's, the true sleeper (meaning you will pass out from heat exhaustion if you drive it). It is beyond reproach, flawless if I can be so bold.
I have pictures that I will upload this evening ASAP.
You cant handle THE HATCH!!!!!!!!!!

The Mugen Hatch is becoming famous.......
That's classic. I think it was best put by Primo..
"Best use of vintage parts"
It is the shop loaner car. If you need to drive it, there are some requirments.
1. Don't kill it.
2. you must buy 1 part for it. examples-- the last driver bought a set of seat covers. doesn't have to be anything big, just one part. Air freshner does not qualify.
When it comes down to it you will love the hatch, because if you're driving it, that means you don't have a car.......
