Mav, I appreciate your concerns - I have no intention of starting a fight, I just want to make contact with him or a roommate and if no one answers I will leave a friendly note for someone at the Apt. to contact me, I have a few friends in the Sheriff Dept. and OPD and I can call on them if the guy is a jerk! Again I have no intentions of putting myself in harms way but if I can assist a fellow member recover his $$$ or his parts I will because I may be in need of the same kind of assistance in the future!

And I would be there for you!! *looks lovingly at you*

Mav does bring up a good point, don't put yourself at risk! I would definitely bring someone along to CYA (cover your a$$), just in case. Especially if it's one of your sheriff buddies

My next step was to call the local police and see if they would be able to help. It's been 12 days since I paid him and 4 days since I was last able to contact him personally, 11 days since he contacted me.

Update: He left me a VM last night (7pm) at work saying that he "TOLD" me that the bank messed up somehow and PayPal was not able to deposit into his bank account (I thought that's why I gave him the $2 good gesture to pay for the PayPal check).
Anyway, he told me that he contacted PayPal to "cancel" the transaction and they told him 3-5 business days.

So it's back to the waiting game... You know, even if this guy is being forthcoming (right word?) with me the whole issue could have been easily avoided if he just sent me an email every other day or so and just kept me in the loop. He said on the voicemail "it seems that you're making it like I'm trying to screw you, but I'm not"; I am not making it look any way, his lack of responses and timeliness in shipping makes it look that way.

The guy said at the end of the message that after I get the PayPal payment back that I can still send him a money order if I still want to deal with him. The price is still good, but I would work through an intermediary to give the money to and to ship the goods to me *looks at nzaizar*; but I'll make that decision after I get the Paypal payment back.

I paid Anthony a visit today but did not make contact!
I hope he is ready to resolve this!
Also, He is a student at Full Sail here in Orlando!

You can see my note I left him under the windshield wiper urging him to resolve this!
