certified pre owned with paint work?
How does the certified pre owned thing work for honda?
can a car thats ever been painted (not necessarily in an accident) ever be certified?
I bought mine certified used thinking this thing hasn't been in any accidents or anything to worry about being that its certified.
I took it to a paint shop yesterday-- the same one doing the work on my 81 vette--- to get my horrendus swirl marks out and to respray my back bumper (due to my idiot roomate hitting it in the driveway)
anyway the guy doin the wet sanding or whatever told me that its clear that this isn't the original paint on the car and that someone's done some paint work on it.
didn't say that its been in an accident persay. but yea can it be certified if paint work has been done?

I don't see why it couldn't. The Honda Certified warranty covers the operational capacity of the car with the exception of wear items. The dealership does its own inspection and will deem if the vehicle can be sold with said warranty. As long as you have that in writing then it is true.
