Default CF Tonneau Cover

I really like the looks of this Tonneau cover and I have an opportunity to pick one up but I can't find any information on how it mounts. Does anyone have any experience with one of these?

I have searched for installation instructions online and the seller never installed it and has no instructions.

Do you utilize the 4 stud posts for the OEM cover?

It appears it may rub the body or rubber trim around the stow space.

Also any suggestions on someone who could paint it NFR and do a good job without breaking the bank.

one of several things:

- bad knock off of a kit that has no hardware to snap into OEM snaps
- it is held in by tension
- does have existing mounting hardware, we just cant see it in those pics
- display item only. Only to be used in show and not while driving

Direct Quote from Barry overheard at the Dragon....." I always drive with the top down".

I say remove the ragtop and windows altogether, then just glass in the new cover, no seams. Then you'll have the ultimate "Red Barchetta". I guarantee that you be on the cover of someone's magazine.

Roadster
Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia - Cite This Source

BARCHETTA - definition

Roadster is the North American term for a 2-seater without a permanent top and without rollup windows (if it has rollup windows it is a cabriolet, not a roadster), and the windshield is bolt on rather than integrated as in modern cars. Even with the lightweight convertible top raised and the clear plastic "windows" snapped in, the driver and passenger remain somewhat exposed to the elements. "Convertible" is an abbreviation of "convertible coupe" or "convertible sedan" which in 1920s-30s parlance indicated that the car had roll-up side windows instead of removable windows (usually called sidecurtains in America). In modern times, the word is often used to describe a two-seat convertible without fixed window frames, especially a light-weight sports car. Most modern day production "roadsters" only meet one of the three criteria. Here, the use of the name roadster is more a marketing gimmick than a technical label, invoking the feeling of an open-top machine for enjoyment, like those of the past.

I have seen one on the road. Are you saying this one is for show only? Is there a different one for everyday use?

I like the look it brings to the roll bars etc. however it is an expensive pc. and if I choose to paint it to match the car it could get even more expensive. I want to make sure I get the right one here.

Thanks, B.

that is definitely a show piece if it has no mounting hardware its not really a big deal get with a local bodyshop and have them on the bottomside fiberglass in some bungee cords or whatever there called to connect to the factory mounting of the tonneu cover
