Default Clear Bra for the S, Pros&Cons

I dont know if its me but It seems that the hood of the car finds every pebble on the road. What's the solution?????? Does anyone have any feedback on protection for the front end???? And finally has anyone used any type of touch up paint to cover the dings on the hood??? Thanks-Art.

I love my clear bra! I've had it for more than two years with no complaints (except maybe that it was expensive). Eventually, I will have my car completely re-painted and I can guarantee I'll do the clear bra again. If you need a local shop to get it from, I can give you the name and number of the guy who did mine, Shay's, my neighbor's, Shay's friend, etc., etc., etc.

My front end looks bad and I regret not having the clear bra.

--clear bra made by a reputable company like 3M =

--one made by a cheap company that discolors or becomes brittle =

-- pro installation with no condensation underneath, good seams and no ripples =

--installation by bucky the wonder neck who does not know what he is doing =

-- Installation on fresh paint that has not had enough time to properly cure =

-- Doing the mirror fronts and side skirt area =

just what I have learned asking the same questions to other clear bra owners

I have all areas covered on front, mirrors and rear quarters. I like being able to get bugs off the surface easily. It was on the car when i bought it and I will redo it when the time comes, no matter what the cost.

Downside: People think you have a bad paint job and getting wax out of the edge is not fun.

I have had LLumar on my car for two years and it is great. Still looks bright and clear. I would do the side skirts again because a tennis shoe leaves a nasty white mark that doesn't want to come of and doesn't do the same on paint. Maybe just do the rearflare infront of the rear wheels like Porsche does. Before my clear bra I would get a rock chip almost every time I drove it and here it is over two years later.

I couldn't get the closeup of the frontend to load. The file is too big.

I am pleaed with the Llumar but I hear there is a new 3M that is something like ultra clear. Have someone do it and it will probably run about $650, for the bumper, first part of the hood, lights and mirrors.

Deninitely let someone do it.
