What is your favorite clutch and why for your S2000? If you had to replace the stock clutch what would you replace it with?

I replaced mine with a ACT Stage two clutch over two years ago. All boosted miles and so far no problems.

 

Didnt you used to have a toggle switch for a clutch?

 

I still do.

 

My best experience with a clutch was a girl in college. When you gave it full throttle and ran the rev's up all she did was grip harder. We called her Sister Clamp.

2nd best is a Centerforce 2 stage. Grabs sweet and the nature of the way it works makes it ideal with 9k. They've been around the track a long time.

i got one for the saturn...
when i blew the auto tranny it spewed fluid all over the underside of the car, all the way to the rear bumper. so when i finished the swap i went out and drove, now i knew "how" to dirve a manual (learned in a 01 z06) but i didnt have any real experience with one, so when i went around the block it wasnt the best shifting in the world but i came back to my house with like 20 friends their waiting (cuz everyone showed up after it was done and only one person while i was doing the swap)... neways i show up and im just spewing smoke! like a lot! and everyone is laughing and im freaking cuz im thinking im destroying my clutch and im gonna have to rip it out again and put a new one in... ends up it was all just the tranny fluid on the exhaust burning off lol

it took like 3 days before it stopped smoking lol

 

So no suggestions on a Clutch?

 

ACT pressure plate, AP2 disc, and whatever flywheel you want. That will more than likely be my next clutch.
