I saw this in the Kansas City Group Forum

don't know if it is being done here or what... but it should be...

I AGREE !!!! My daughter just got her license last month. She could learn ALOT from something like this. Anyone want to get the ball rolling? If so, I'm in.

We really would not need this if the state accually made sure the drivers we have in Florida where accually capable of driving a car . Plus all of the 100 year olds that are blind and still drive because the family is afraid to tell them they are a hazard to everyone on the roads here .

My old SCCA region did this a couple of times. Definitely worthwhile.

First - this is soooo cool and SHOULD be part of drivers ed.
Second - AutoX, this is how I learned and will relearn my S.
Third - This one sucks - TPD set up a program called CARS (Cops Against Racing On Streets) to combat street racing and educate drivers as to the capabilities of their cars. From what I have read about it, there is a budged (my tax money) but nothing has been done!

Here is one I've been to before in the Jax/St Aug area...very good instructors and the facility is used for police and fire training. It's not just for BMW's either...
