Computer geeks view of an S2000
LOL...as usual you see the high praise for being a true sports/driver's car. And calling the instruments "dated" seems a bit insane when it's using all digital readouts that are handsomely done without looking "80's". Who the hell needs navigation when all you want to do is drive the S wherever the damn road takes you anyway???
The bottom line: The 2007 Honda S2000 is almost pure sports car, more suited for winding roads than trips to the grocery store or the daily commute. It's a car you will dream about driving while you're stuck in the office, and is best used for recreation.
Sounds accurate to me

How many people dream and drool about owning a vintage MGA, TR6, Jag or Sunbeam type of roadster? How many gadgets are there in these cars? It sits in your garage and when you do drive it, you're afraid to go out further than 50 miles because you don't what is gonna happen to it next.
But the point is this type of car is strictly for the purity of an open top, pleasure drive, whether you are going to get groceries or going to work. The best part, you can jump in at any time and take off to California and back and never think twice about it. There is just too much fun and realibility to pretend that there will ever be anything else in the 2nd half of my garage.......

exactly ...
the statement should read "Ferrari dreams of having Honda reliability"

I don't know many Ferrari owners who drive to work daily (or even think about it) ... they're probably too afraid of BEING SEEN broken down on the side of the road.
