some of the comment posts on that site claim that is a video of a test of the facility not the car..... the vehicle was crashed at over 100KMph with a payload of 10000 kilos....there were no crash dummies used etc etc. I agree, that if those parameters are indeed true...no car would look very good or even pass the survivable test.

Glad the new VWs are well tested , I did see the comment about the car being heavily loaded and driven over 100KPH .
