after it ha dried very well, get som 2500 or better yet 3000 grit wet sand paper and keeping it very wet, sand the touched up spot. try to get it as even to the surounding paint as possible. If you still notice low spots, fill them in with some more touchup paint, let dry and resand. Then use some polishing compound to raise a shine, coat of wax and you are done.

So sorry man. People are just jerks, they had to know they hit your car.

The spot patch looks like it may be fine. I agree with Chip, the key will be getting the touch up paint to the same level as the existing paint.

I am afraid to do too much sanding as the paint around it is not adhered very well. I will try it but I'm not going to push it. I just need to to last until race day. After that I'm stealing some bandaids from Rob and having fun with it until paint day.
