Yeah already posted, which was a big factor in me taking a look at an iphone again, and I got impatient and went out and bought one last night......
First off the phone is cool as hell, already have like 30 apps and only paid for 2 of em!!!
I have only had 1 chance to actually test this program out, and I was not positive that I had no cops around me so I didn't do a real launch and only went up to 82 mph......
The performance program seemed to work pretty damn good!!!! It reported me with a 7.5 0-60 (which seems probable since I just rolled it into first without spinning tires like a real launch) and a 10.1 1/8 mile and said I hit 81 mph which was pretty close to my 82. Also reported me as having 180 hp but that is probably off because I just guessed with the numbers inputting my car. I put 2840 as the weight and 23 percent drivetrain loss, if someone had the real numbers for me I could try to test this out a little better.
I am eager for the program to utilize the gps because it is worthless for any information unless you start it from a dead stop. My other gripe is that it is hard to time with a street light which is usually my only chance to get on it from a stop around here....... when you press start it does a quick calibration and then tells you to go when it is ready.
Lots of potential here for upgrades or copycat programs that might do it better, but for 13 bucks I am happy!
