For those of you that do have stock numbers, doesn't this seem a little low? I was expecting mid-190's worst case....

Yes, that does sound low but not unheard of. Every dyno is different and every car is different. You should have been in the mid low to mids 190s.

Let see some more results to compare it to. Especially if someone has dynoed before.

I see from your similar post in another part of the forum that this was a Mustang dyno. Those read lower than a DynoJet and much lower than a DynoPack. 186hp on a Mustang is about right. Your car would probably see at least 5hp higher on a DynoJet.

Cool, I feel much better with these numbers then. Thanks!

imo, it's just a number. doesn't mean anything in real world. try a dynojet on a colder day, i promise your number will be higher.

Still, for a first time on the dyno, and hearing some numbers online before going there, I must admit my expectations were a little higher than reality....

Oh well. I know it doesn't mean much, I was just hoping for more.

But the guy before me did his and he was stock and only did 175...

Yea, my first pull was in 4th gear and it only netted 179 and 120, with some stinky smoke shooting out the exhaust
The 3rd gear pulls were much better....I'm debating on what steps to do next to start bringing this number up.

i pulled an SAE corrected exact 200 whp on a Dynojet on a 3rd gear pull...

mustang dyno's do read a little lower...

look into forced induction for any significant power gains

I'd love to, but I'm trying to keep it as close to stock as I can for autocrossing, plus I'll be buying a house within the next 8 months so that puts any hope of a lovefab turbo kit well behind...
