Default Eibach Install

Since the search is down I figured id try my local guys to see if anyone has done a spring install on our cars before. I picked up a new set of eibach pro kit springs for $120 bucks off a guy, I was just going to re sell them and make some money but since they are not to aggressive of a drop I figured to just install them and see how I like them.

I have a jack and about every tool I should need, but just seeing if there are any tricks or trade secrets to this job. The one thing I do not have is a spring compressor so I guess if I have to have one im SOL. If thats the case anyone have one I can borrow for a day? Thanks for any advice or tips!

You wont need a spring compressor, there is really not enough compression on the stock assembley.

There is a how to write up somewhere on here that I used to do mine and another members.

If I had to do it all over again I would just take it to 2nrwerks to have Todd knock it out while I watched and stayed clean

good idea, after reading the write ups I think this might be more then I want to take on in a single weekend. Unless anyone wants to have a mod day and can give me a hand. (or body to stand on the rear rotors )

Selina's(My GF ) brother just installed springs and shocks on his car. He bought a spring compressor for the job and planned to return it pretty soon. If you've decide to DIY, let me know before it's too late.

Looks like Clinton is going to give me a hand with this one...nick im sure if you want to join us incase you do this down the road it would be fine. Not going to be doing it at my house so ill find out. Eric, thanks for the offer with the tool I think Clinton has one already so I should be set!

After I get this stuff on, itll be onto new rotors, pads, painting the calipers and bling hoses!
