Default Exhaust

I am looking into getting a cat back system for my 00 S. I have narrowed it down to APEXi GT Spec or APEXi N1 Evolution or Buddy Club Pro Spec III. Wondering how they sound, the performance if any? Thanks for any help!

You should come out to the next Jax meet...which should be this Saturday (watch the forum for details). There are several different exhausts that our locals have. You can listen and choose the style that is best for you. Singles will be LOUD. And I know at least one of the APEXi exhausts you have on your list has horrible drone (a common problem on many s2k aftermarket exhausts). I highly recommend that you listen in person (sound clips are worthless) before you buy.

Note that the 2 Apexi singles you've chosen are 60mm exhausts...you can do better with a 63mm or 70mm. As long as you are getting a loud exhaust, at least get one that produces some gains.

Thanks negcamber I went to the one at Murray's grill. I was going to follow James last time but something came up! I will do that, they just seemed to be good priced for a man on a budget.

The meet locations vary. The meet details will probably be up tomorrow. Look in the Florida forum for Jax meet # __ Location, time.

BTW welcome to the S2K family. Hope to meet you soon. I will not be at the next meet. Will be in OK for two weeks.

There is a clip of the Buddy CLub Spec III in my GB thread. There is a link to that thread in my signature below.

The Spec III is probably the lightest non-titanium single out there. Singles are loud but you get a lot of weight savings.
