I've also heard really good things about Spugen exhausts. They are a board sponsor and have a cheaper price. I think VVS has a single which is louder but you could judge the quality.
I'd keep my eyes open on the FS forum for a good deal. Who cares about a used exhaust? It's going to go under your car anyway and you'll never look at it again. My $0.02.
I love mine. Thought I would regret making it louder. Never have though. You can always put the stocker back on if you don't like it.

I agree totally with Jim on the HKS. Quiet and just a tad droney in low revs and then a great sound in VTEC.
A lot of the aftermarket exhaust sound good and have benefits too. Fujitsubo, amuse, Invidia, spugen, J's racing, HKS, veilside etc etc... they all have aesthetic, performance and audible +'s and -'s
Come to the next outing we have and we can all rev for you and/or give you a quick demo ride.
PS -- Brian will win the rev contest though unless Jeff brings something monstorous back from down south LOL

Ben, Thanks for the demo ride. great sound. I think I will stay with the dual though.
I know there are a lot of options out there. I just need to hear some of them and decide. I agree a good used exhaust is probably the best bet money wise.
Can we organize an exhaust listening and comparison meet?

i have never seen one, and i have looked pretty darn hard.
maybe someone figured out a solution to the problem, the wieght loss on a single is nice.
but IMO the singles look a bit awk on the 04+s.

Primogen should have done this. Better sounding than the HKS I had and about 10 more hp.......

I had no money until this evening. I am still holding out on your S/C LOL JK
