well i think i could be wrong but they continued the fd in japan up to 1997 so from 1993 to 97 they were making the FD in jdm land. so ya there could be more but if you think about it the S2000's are broken up into generations too AP1 and AP2 so technically the "Gen 1" s2000 was only made for 3 years then the ap2 for the same amout of years as the FD. history repeats itself

I'll pick up an 09 S2k in 2011. Should be pretty cheap by then.

[quote name='ArchAngel2K' date='Jan 21 2009, 08:34 PM'] lets put it this way if they do stop making the S2000 that just means the value will go up just like the RX7's.

I will believe it when I see it . The S was initially supposed to be a commemorative car with 2 years and 10000 total built .

Remember ... first there was an S600 and S800 ... and that was about 30+ years ago

We'll all be a bit older with our 'classic' S2000's around a bunch new S3000's in 10-15 years

Well my friend bought one in 93 and if I remember correctly it was like $30k at the time. It was bad ass back then. But $30k car back then is like buying a $45k car now. Which means our cars back then would sell for like $23K and if my math is correct would only be worth $8k in todays dollars.
and I don't know what the hell that means but in 16 years I hope to be retired and driving an s4000.
Your are right, but don't forget that increases in price are directly inversely related to supply-demand equalibrium even to the point of price decreases.
