None that I have heard, however I would strongly urge the organizers not to do it in the heat of summer and at the far end of the state this year. Centrally located for everyone and in early spring, or late fall.

Just my 2 cents.

Last year's event was in August and it was hotter than Hell, I would suggest doing it in early November or Early December and in Orlando or better yet Sebring!

The organizers did a great job but it is just to hot that time of the year to enjoy being outdoors for any length of time.

I agree on the central location. I'm from the Ga. crew and I think a majority of us here (in my area anyway) would love to make a road trip for a super meet.

Same here on central location being the best way if you really want major participation. The issue is that wherever it is, the bulk of the effort is always going to be on the group that is most local.

I'm perfectly willing to bring food, throw some money in, etc. but that's easy stuff. The real thankless work is taking the initiative to research locations, reserve them, organize the food, drinks, etc.

My vote would be Tampa or Orlando. It's not only cental enough geographically for the state, but there's alot of things to do, places to stay and eat. Not everyone is going to come and go back same day. It either has to be in the next couple months or not until the end of the year. I went to the 06 Miami meet and it was miserable weather. When it wasn't 105 out, it was pouring rain! I heard last year was even hotter!!!
