Default Florida oil consensus?

I've been on just about every oil change thread on here I can find, and basically what I found is nobody agrees on anything. So I figured I would ask my fellow Floridians what you guys are running in your cars. I don't think a 0 weight is necessary due to the fact we really don't get winter down here in Sarasota. I have an 05 with 62k and I'm using Mobil 1 10w-30 and OEM filter. Any reason I shouldn't be going with this setup and why?

I don't think it matters so long as you are using a name brand synthetic and changing your oil and filter every 3k miles.

I personally use 10W-30 Castol Syntec Titanium from Walmart, about $28 for 5qt jug.

Just get a good brand name synthetic 10w-30 and keep an eye on the oil level, and change it every ~5,000 miles for a street car. Use the OEM filter.
I run Pennzoil Platinum in my SI and have no complaints, I've also seen good reviews on BITOG. I think the maintenance minder for my SI came on the other week with ~7,000 highway miles on the change. I do the s2000 every 5,000 due to autocross flogging, using AMSOIL Signature Series 10w-30.

10w-30 is generally OK for a stock motor. If you truly want to know what weight you should be using, get an oil pressure gauge.

I use the same oil but go 6-7.5k miles between changes. I send samples out for tests at blackstone and they always say go longer between changes even with tracking the car.

Your oil is fine. Don't worry about it.

Thanks for all the input guys, I appreciate it! I'm planning on putting in an AEM oil pressure gauge soon, I've always had one in my other cars just to be sure. Guess I'll stick with Mobil 1, it's been good to me in the past.
