Hey everyone....

Tommy (Mav) and I came up with the idea of getting T-shirts done for the Florida S2000 guys. I would anticipate the cost would be $15, and we would need to get the money up front.

Tommy will come up with a design and we will put up pictures so everyone can check it out.

So lets hear your thoughts, ideas, etc., and most importantly would you be interested in buying one? I would assume (I havent check yet) we'd probably need to have at least 25 made to make the cost reasonable.

I'm in. Can you have them ready by the Orlando meet on June 29-30? If so, I'll BUY 25 of them right now and I'll take the risk of selling them! Let's put a neat design together QUICKLY.

Ummm....hello? Doesn't this idea sound familiar? You know I'm in, whether I'm buying from Chin or from you guys, no matter to me.

 

Guys, this WAS B.E.T.'s idea! She had the same concerns you all voiced....who is going to pay and do we have enough people interested. I haven't had time to pursue it given all the other stuff that's going on these past few weeks.

If we do have them in time for the meet, they will be sold at my cost. I'm not interested in making money on the deal....just want to promote the club and the people in it!

The key is designing it QUICKLY. I have turned T-shirt orders around in about a week but it has to be ready to go.

These would be sold at cost, we are just doing this as community organizers not as profiteers. If we can get a design together I dont think it would be difficult.

Question is, if you want them for the meet should we do a an S2000/NSX Club joint shirt?

 

We could do a joint shirt if that wouldn't hold up the design. That would mean no shirts in time for the event.

Let the artist make the decision. If he/she can get an NSX AND an S2K on the shirt great. If not, no biggie.

The wording could be

"2002 NSX/S2K Summer Basch" (Basch in honor of Mark Basch who is our special guest, the guru of NSXs and knowledge boss of all VTEC Hondas)

Hey, sounds cool to me. How about we use the same idea as the APC shirts with the picture of the exagerated cars on the back and the logo on the front....or for that matter, has anyone seen the new Konig shirts with the hooked up S2000 with the Verdict rims (that don't really fit the car, I know, I asked)?. Food for thought? *lol*
