Default Front end squeal....

Hey guys and gals.

As of yesterday, I have picked up a squeal from my driver-side front wheel area. When appyling throttle at a lower speed, and mostly turning to the right, an annoying and embarrassing noise happens. I noticed, a couple of times, it would happen with no throttle applied.

Can anyone figure it out? I dont notice it while at speed and turning. It only seems to happen under 10 mph.

Here is a cell phone video of the noise. I hope someone can point me in the right direction:

I click on your picture and it says.. The action that you were trying to perform has failed.

sounds odd....how are your brake pads? I've had brake squeal from a set of pads on my mazda before at only certain points when turning and such.

Also, there is no brakes being applied in the video. Its under throttle turning.

I get that but just check the pads anyways. If they're worn and theres any kind of movement in the pad allowing the metal "squeal" indicator touch the pad it will do that regardless of brakes being applied. As I said i had this happen in my Mazda when driving around with 0 brakes applied.

no kidding...ill have to check then. I just find it weird that it only happens turning at low speeds and to the right haha. I will check it on my lunch break to see if the pads are low.

Depending on how many miles you have on the car and if you track it could possibly be a wheel bearing. A dry outer tierod could squeal too but would only do it in a turn.

It just seems weird that a wheel bearing would fail under 50k miles majority daily driving. But whos to say right? To me, that seems what it could be. Just sucks b/c im stuck at work all day and most shops close by the time im out. And, working 50 miles from home doesnt help either.

Yeah a wheel bearing at 50,000 does seem unlikely. Yeah same here I work long hours during the day so everything is closed too. I've never owned an S before this but I'm a quick learner and I'm doing all my own work on my car. So I work on it over the weekends when I need to do things to it whether repairs or mods.
Edit: I would check the brakes too, like was metioned above.
