Well, I honestly never thought I would have to do this, but things are slow for me right now and it doesn't make sense for me to have two cars. Since I can't fit drums in my S...she's gotta go.

I will be listing it "For Sale" in more formal means ASAP, but in the meantime I wanted to spread the word here first, in case anyone knows someone from the community that might be interested.

Here's the scoop:

2002 Honda S2000 - New Formula Red
26, 984 miles
Asking $17,300
Very clean car and garage kept
I am the second owner. The first owner was my friend's mother who bought the car in July 2002 as a "fun car" and only put 10,600 miles on it. I bought it from her in January of 2005 and have had it ever since.

Clean title; no accidents.

The paint is in good condition with the exception of the normal front end chips. There is also one door ding on the driver's side door. The only major blemish on the car is a scuff on the front-passenger side just in front of the wheel where the first owner grazed her garage door while backing out one day. It would be completely covered by an OEM chin spoiler which I had planned to do from day one, but never had the extra cash.

Oil has been changed every 3k-5k with Mobil 1 and the Diff and Tranny fluids have been changed twice (once at 11,000 and most recently at 26,5xx).

The car has Potenza S0-2's on it, but they need replacing, especially in the front, which is why I am asking a little less than BB value.

The only mods are all minor (mostly esthetic things):
  • OEM Trunk Spolier
  • Voodoo Spun Aluminum Shift Knob
  • Rick's Clear Sidemarkers
  • Modifry's Glovebox Organizer
  • 3-button Cruise Control Cluster on Steering Wheel
  • Kodokan's Seat Locks (with key)
  • Major Havoc's Headrest Windblockers

I will post some recent pics ASAP.

If anyone is interested please PM me.

*sigh*

Craig

Don't you have a record deal on the rise that would prevent this????

I saw you on Leno. I made sure to watch, even though I have not met you yet. (Good show by the way)
Hopefully things work out and you can keep the car.

Best of luck to you.

Technically I don't have a record deal, but I am "employed" by someone who does. While I do get paid decent money when we are actually touring or recording, I get a big ZILCH when we're not doing anything (i.e. "now") as I am not on a retainer.

So when I am home my employment consists of a mix of local gigs here in JAX, giving private lessons, and some recording work here and there. All of which has just been slow the last few months and I am just not having the consistent income I had a couple years ago when I bought the S.

I am crossing my fingers that something comes along for myself or my fiance' that will allow me to keep her (the S that is; my fiance' stays no matter ) as we're both sad over having to sell this awesome car.

I was really interested until I saw all those miles you have on it and the fact that it's so heavily modded. I feel like I'm losing a distant cousin. Kenny is the only connection I have left to the S2000. Sorry to hear about the hard times. I'll keep my ears open for a buyer and any work if you are interested.
