Default FS: One Bad Boy Truck

Well, I suddenly have become the possessor of a 2002 Ford F550 4WD Custom P/U Truck. I bought this thing to assist my brother in law in his transport business and unfortunately, this arrangement did not workout. So, I now have the truck back. It was used as car hauler with a 4 car trailer setup.

If anyone is interested in this beast, PM with your email address so that I can send you the pics. Just for those that want the facts:

7.3 power Stroke Turbo Diesel
161K miles
Four Door Extended Cab - XLT Package
Custom Flatbed with Gooseneck 5th wheel setup
24,000 pound hauling capability
Automatic Tranny
Custom dual verticle exhaust (this thing rocks & sounds unbelievable, think of it as the Invidia for Turbo Diesels)
Aux Fuel Tank, Dual Tool Boxes
Military hitch setup
All chromed out - Red Neck Bling
Midnight Blue exterior

The commercial industry guys say that this truck should hit the streets decked the way it sits for around $26K. I just need to get out what I have owed on it...
$19,500 ish

*If you want the trailer, that is also available for an extra price.

Not interested but this sounds very similar to a set up a friend of ours in Jax has. He's done a few things under the hood including some sort of Stage settings. To hear stories of this beast smoking Mustangs, Civics, you name it, is hilarious. Can't imagine the gas mileage but I did hear about the 15q oil changes.

Best of luck Scott!

Oh Yeah....This thing (the trailer) will haul FOUR S2000's. As mentioned above 24,000 pound hauling capacity. Just a tad bit of overkill if you thinking about a proverbial car hauling trailer. I don't have pics as yet of the trailer but I will shoot out pics of the Truck to anyone who wants them.. maybe after I send the truck pics to Ben, he'll post them up on this thread for me.

If I decide to take up the business challenge and use this truck myself, I will be installing the Banks System with the three settings that you are talking about. It is wicked.

Case in point: I was down in Port Charlotte doing hurricane relief and I had just gotten my '03 S/Stone with Vortec S/C. I took the car down to show it off to the crew. I am going out to dinner and come to a stop light and I am the first car in the left lane and a Ford F350 non dually Super Crew is in the right lane next to me. He was triple black with limo tint so I could not see a thing except black sheet metal, no chrome anywhere. Anyway, when the light urned green, I heard the turbo spool up and it sounded mean. All I wanted to do was just keep up to hear this thing growl and befor you know it, the two of us are screaming together at full throttle!! At first, I thought that I was not really pushing the car but then I am looking at the tach and I am at the full 9K and shifting hard. It was not until 3rd gear that I finally pulled away enough to get in front of him (about 85 mph) because I had to get over into the turn lane to the right to get to the restaurant that I wanted to get to. Unbelievable! Almost smoked by a 6000 pound diesel truck! But that goes to show what is available if you want to mod a diesel.
