Default Gainesville (North Central FL) Clutch Install

I was wondering if anyone could recommend anyone in the greater area to install a clutch. I'd prefer to not have to trek to Orlando or Tampa, but there might not be a way around it. Plus I'll be headed one of those ways sooner than later.

Thanks,
Mike

There IS a place in G'ville... my father found it recently while looking for a less expensive place than the dealer. I'll have to check with him for the name, but I remember him telling me it was just past the University on the SW side, on top of a hill. It doesn't look like much, but the guys are great to talk to, very friendly, and quite knowledgable about imports.

MacGyver,

I'd love to find out what place that is. I actually got rid of a modified car I had a few years ago since it was getting to be too much to keep it running without another car or a decent place to do some bigger jobs (i.e. had to limp to Orlando to get a clutch installed on it). Definitely let me know when you find out.

As far as the Tuesday night meets, I used to be pretty involved with the local car clubs a while back, but my time can only stretch so thin nowadays and I just don't have time for that anymore. I've hung out with Nate before and meet some of the other local guys, but its been like 2 years.

I just wanted to follow up for thread completeness that in the area Archer Road Imports seemed very knowledgeable, but I decided to not go FI (or even mod at all) so stock clutch remains and I didn't have any work done there. I'd definitely use them instead of the dealer in the future.
