Gainesville Track Day

I wouldn't mind running with an MR-S.
Also, I still haven't been granted access to the CFBMW forums. But on there, I saw you were asking what to do if cars get close to each other. Well, obviously there is no passing allowed. So what I generally do is tell everyone that if they get within 5-10 seconds of the vehicle ahead of them, to simply slow down for a couple of turns. There's very few good safe spots to have someone pull off the course. And if you do have people pull off, then you need to have someone there where they pulled off to direct them back on the course safely.
So basically, it's easier just to have people sort of control spacing on their own. If all 3 cars get bunched up, I will flag them ALL down, then seperate them back out. Then once we make it through the list, we will change the run order, because those three cars obviously don't belong together.
If you would like, I can go over the list of rules and other basics that I give at every track day I host there at GIR. It's just a lot of general information. Most of it is simply reminders, but it's always better to be extra safe rather than not safe enough.

thanks, it would be great to post the guidelines you use... and like Scott said, there's no passing, we have to pull a car off, if we need to let others around...
