Cool Getting complaints?

I find it hard to believe that a thread about a poorly DRAWN representation of a phallus on a football feild gets the "ol heave ho" on this forum

see here: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=660863

That is just silly.

Whoever complained...get over yourself

IT WAS A SIMPLE LINE DRAWING, not some erect penis in your face

People are way too sensitive and critical

That is all

Delete this if needs be but something had to be said

Hahahahahaa. This kind of thing hurts my feelings... it makes me feel small and ill-equipped by comparison.

Cool

I mean seriously.......are all representations of the human anatomy in art subject to the same scrutiny?

I could see the argument if it was a photo of a dude flashing the crowd at a game or something equally vulgar but this is a doodle of a noodle.

Sweet biscuits, this is retarded!!!!

be thankful this picture does not show anymore or this thread will be locked down too.....

I at the very premise

The CO that closed the thread did not have to. He could have used his own discretion on the subject. Just because someone complains about something doesn't mean they should get their way. My 4 year old cries all the time when he wants something and can't have it. Does that mean I have to give it to him? Hell, no!

your kiddin... hmmm, well, it wasn't the naztec lines... but.. i didn't see any post's that made a big deal of it...

never the less.. if someone was offended... well, we are a community and taking others into consideration is important.... making someone feel lessor for speaking up... isn't right either...

there were no posts that made a big deal of it

the complaint was done through PM and if my spidey sense is correct that person is often on a horse that is very high.

I have no problem with anyone on this forum...all should know that by now.

I feel lessor because i was deprived of what I would have thought was going to be engaging humor and rhetoric because somebody got their panties in wad over an ariel phograph of a funny piece of mishapen graffiti.. I have a right to voice a concern too. i just choose to do it publically so all can see my stance on a subject.

I would have had much more respect for the complainers perspective and the result of the complaint if it were done out in the open so we could discuss and come to amicable compromise (if the need actually existed)

there are rules to this site and they should be enforced but at the same time there is the law and there is the spirit of the law and I feel the latter is getting trod upon.

Again, if this was some vulgar display of pornography or even a real depiction of the human anatomy I would see cause for concern...

the subject at hand is a ridiculous characature of a lampoon of a cartoon of a facsimilie of a representation of a drawing of a weiner.

Please, someone help me find balance between MTV and the Old Testament that everybody can be happy with.....PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everybody hide your copies of Tom Sawyer and the scribblings of Burrows and Kerouac......who knows what is going to be deemed indecent next????

maybe the White Album...........who the hell knows what Number 9 means anyways...maybe its the harbinger of doom

I am being ridiculous to make a point. My extreme-ness is a direct reflection of the complaint that was made...they are in lock-step with each other.

When I see something that is blatantly offensive, or I feel is inappropriate for the forum, I toss it. Few if any of you even know it was posted. When I get complaints, I close it. this way it can still be viewed but soon it will drip off the main page and be forgotten.

I didn't think the football field penis was of any cultural value. There really was no reason to keep it, so after the complaint I closed the thread.
